Roger and his team did a fabulous job getting our almost 30-years-old drywall to look new again by repairing nail pops and seams. “I got quotes from three different painting companies: $380 with no explanation of how the work would be done; $200 with some explanation; and My Three Sons’ quote of $297 with a calm, detailed and clearly presented plan for treating the rust and painting the vent. Owner Keith Zafren kept in touch with me by phone and email before he went to my house; after he looked at this very small project when he again explained what he would do and when he planned to do it; after he got the first coat on (and sent pictures); and when the job was finished. He even sent a picture of my pathetic porch and offered to write a quote for staining. Keith requested a partial payment for the materials, and within a week, the job was done. HUGE IMPROVEMENT. I would definitely recommend him and would use him again. “First time homeowner who was looking for painters in Georgetown in order to paint the interior of the new house. It was a little tricky because the previous owners had left the walls in bad shape, bad paint cover up jobs, loose baseboards, various holes in the walls, etc, so I was concerned about finding a painter who could also repair the damage at the same time without being taken advantage of. Three Sons looked like they had what I needed. The quote was on upper end of my scale, but each room was totally broken down individually so you knew exactly what you were going to get for each price point, which was super clear and helpful. My experience with the actual painting was fantastic. Team leader Roger and his team were great. Every day he went through the house with me, explaining what they were going to do that day and what they had done. The attention he had to detail was appreciated, he went back over areas if needed, spent a lot of time repairing holes and damage and the walls now look brand new. I don’t even want to hang pictures now they look so nice! Roger was very easy to talk to and there was no feeling uncomfortable about asking for a tiny drop or minuscule bubble to get fixed. “I found My Three Sons on the Internet while looking for someone to repair water damage from a leaky roof. This repair was not just for painting – there was significant damage to the old lathing that old buildings have. This damage was very significant particularly because it had occurred on a building built in 1908. My problem is that I am in Lexington only once a month and needed someone who was trustworthy and would do what they said they would do – without me there to supervise the work progress on a day-to-day basis.
