“First time homeowner who was looking for painters in Georgetown in order to paint the interior of the new house. It was a little tricky because the previous owners had left the walls in bad shape, bad paint cover up jobs, loose baseboards, various holes in the walls, etc, so I was concerned about finding a painter who could also repair the damage at the same time without being taken advantage of. Three Sons looked like they had what I needed. The quote was on upper end of my scale, but each room was totally broken down individually so you knew exactly what you were going to get for each price point, which was super clear and helpful. My experience with the actual painting was fantastic. Team leader Roger and his team were great. Every day he went through the house with me, explaining what they were going to do that day and what they had done. The attention he had to detail was appreciated, he went back over areas if needed, spent a lot of time repairing holes and damage and the walls now look brand new. I don’t even want to hang pictures now they look so nice! Roger was very easy to talk to and there was no feeling uncomfortable about asking for a tiny drop or minuscule bubble to get fixed. Everything was done in an orderly and professional fashion, cleaned up daily, on time every morning, and he really made this process so much easier and less stressful then I expected (as he said he would!) “Mary Queen Church just had My Three Sons repaint its sanctuary and gathering area. It had been 23 years since the facility had been built and it needed a full facelift. There were numerous “prep” areas that Bryan took special care to repair. The professionalism and quality of the work by Keith and his staff were exemplary. With a Church, there are many unforeseen bumps in the road as it deals with scheduling and conflicts. “My wife and I started searching for painters in Lexington by doing a simple Google search. We were planning a major remodel that would involve all new paint and extensive drywall work. We had three paint/drywall contractors come over to quote the project. My Three Sons Painting was the third contractor, and after meeting with Keith the owner, we knew we found who we wanted to work with. My Three Sons was able to take on the drywall work and the paint. Their price was not the lowest but we felt that they were going to give us the best end product. We were not wrong. We had a few issues that we noticed a couple months after the project was finished, and Keith came over right away and told us he would take care of it. He even purchased more paint to finish the fixes at no cost to us. Keith is definitely a man of his word and runs a very respectable business. “I received 2 estimates. Keith was clear, thorough and professional. His estimate was a little higher but he was suggesting a bit more than we had originally thought. We decided to wait until late summer/early fall. Keith followed up and kept in touch. My husband decided to go with a third person – not nearly the quality I knew Keith would provide and this person’s clean up/finish turned out to be a fiasco. “I got quotes from three different painting companies: $380 with no explanation of how the work would be done; $200 with some explanation; and My Three Sons’ quote of $297 with a calm, detailed and clearly presented plan for treating the rust and painting the vent. Owner Keith Zafren kept in touch with me by phone and email before he went to my house; after he looked at this very small project when he again explained what he would do and when he planned to do it; after he got the first coat on (and sent pictures); and when the job was finished. He even sent a picture of my pathetic porch and offered to write a quote for staining. Keith requested a partial payment for the materials, and within a week, the job was done. HUGE IMPROVEMENT. I would definitely recommend him and would use him again. This is the second time I’ve used Angie’s List for finding and contracting with a service provider, and I have been thoroughly pleased with both.“
