“We originally obtained three bids to paint the interior of our house. Unfortunately, we elected to go with a local franchise of a national company that was less expensive. The online reviews were positive and a friend had used them with good results. This turned out to be one of the biggest mistakes we have made. Be aware that reviews may be crew-specific. Some of the individuals sent to paint our home were careless and borderline incompetent. We had to clean for about two hours each night after they left and the end result was much worse than if I had done the job myself. We then contacted Keith at My Three Sons to come in and paint the woodwork. I cannot express the difference between the two companies. Geyner and Christopher have cared for our home like it was their own. The workmanship is fantastic. These gentlemen are professionals and take pride in their craft; totally unlike our previous experience. I give My Three Sons my highest recommendation. “They did a wonderful job painting the ceiling and walls. The new color we picked was a close match and we actually liked better because the cream is brighter, happier color. The place looks bigger and more open without the black ceiling and they touched up the holes from nails on the walls in the rooms and bathrooms. “This has to be the best company I’ve ever used. We were doing some renovations, and they came highly recommended. They showed up on time, they staid late if necessary, and cleaned up better than it was before they started. They went above and beyond. The past companies we had used were a total nightmare, but My Three Sons is unbelievably excellent, and they’re the hardest working people I’ve ever seen! I’d give them an A+ if I could!“

“I got quotes from three different painting companies: $380 with no explanation of how the work would be done; $200 with some explanation; and My Three Sons’ quote of $297 with a calm, detailed and clearly presented plan for treating the rust and painting the vent. Owner Keith Zafren kept in touch with me by phone and email before he went to my house; after he looked at this very small project when he again explained what he would do and when he planned to do it; after he got the first coat on (and sent pictures); and when the job was finished. He even sent a picture of my pathetic porch and offered to write a quote for staining. Keith requested a partial payment for the materials, and within a week, the job was done. HUGE IMPROVEMENT. I would definitely recommend him and would use him again. This is the second time I’ve used Angie’s List for finding and contracting with a service provider, and I have been thoroughly pleased with both.“

We ditched the red, green and yellow walls in the living room, foyer and bedroom for Sherwin Williams Agreeable Gray while also touching up all the trim. “Keith and his team were an absolute pleasure to work with. I had a two story entryway and hallway painted by them, and they absolutely exceeded my expectations. It ended up turning out so beautifully, I asked them to do another room! They were able to get it done the next day which i greatly appreciated. The men who did the painting even fixed mistakes on the ceiling that they did not make, which speaks to the pride they take in their work. On top of doing a beautiul job, I also felt comfortable with them in my home. They were kind, respectful, great with my pets (two large dogs), and very clean. Each day they left my house cleaner than how they found it. I also changed my mind on the paint color the morning that they were due to start, something which understandably could have been very frustrating, but Keith was extremely accommodating. He gave me an honest opinion when asked for and called his contact at the paint store to have the colors adjusted quickly so the job could start on time.
